The ideal candidate should have knowledge of, and experience with, innovation development principles and practices, whether from government or private sector program experience, be a strategic and systems thinker with an innovative mindset, have familiarity with the operation of innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems and the roles performed by its main stakeholders, and have an understanding of the basic workings of an innovation cycle and its stages. The candidate should be proficient in the use of software applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook and Internet), must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, quality work products, proactive follow-through, and the ability to prioritize work assignments and manage expectations.
