Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Align, level, and calibrate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining as needed Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential issues before failures occur Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection reports Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience as a millwright, maintenance technician, or in a related mechanical role Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial equipment and systems Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting mechanical failures Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Basic welding and fabrication skills Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments Experience working with composting, recycling, or material processing equipment Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Certification in welding, industrial maintenance, or related trade Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations Core Competencies & SkillsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management and organizational skills Effective communication skills Work EnvironmentIndustrial, manufacturing, and outdoor operational settings Exposure to moving machinery, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions May require lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periodsWhat we offer: Mission-driven work in a rapidly growing sustainability companyOpportunities for professional growth and learningCollaborative, values-driven team cultureCompetitive salary and benefitsWhy You'll Love Working at Denali- Benefits & Perks At Denali, the work we do begins and ends with---you---- our employees.
