Overview:
The Bar Back is responsible for backing up the bartender by restocking products to ensure the bartenders stay fully stocked during events while ensuring all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.<a href="https://www.intermiamicf.com/" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer" target="_blank"></a> This role pays an hourly rate of $15.16-$18.50 and is tip eligible Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. This position will remain open until May 22, 2026.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for stocking products for the bar including N/A beverages, alcoholic beverages, icing wells, sweeping and moping the bar, moving kegs in and out of keg coolers and tapping kegs. Drafting beer and pouring wine for guest orders, running supplies for bartenders back up fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers.    </li><li>Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures, this includes mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans and keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter. The 4K TCL Bar and Sky Club are high profile locations frequently visited and shown by our client and must be kept in clean and orderly fashion.</li><li>Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to make bartenders aware of such individuals.</li><li>Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.</li><li>Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.</li><li>Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.</li><li>Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.</li><li>Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory.</li><li>Ability to speak, read and write in English.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume bar capacity is preferred.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Maintain a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.</li><li>Set-up bar prior to banquet events.</li><li>Ensure supplies/ingredients are properly stocked prior to events.</li><li>Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.</li><li>Serve wine and bottled or draft beers.</li><li>Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase/consumption.</li><li>Clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment.</li><li>Offer menu advise and suggestions to guests.</li><li>Take proactive approach to limiting problems and liability that may arise from guests’ excessive drinking.</li><li>Order taxis or other transportation for intoxicated guests.</li><li>Arrange liquor, supplies, glasses, bottles, etc. to make an attractive display.</li><li>May slice or pit fruit for garnishment.</li><li>Assist with banquet team as needed.</li><li>Tear down bar area after events.</li><li>Put all liquor, beverage, supplies, etc. back in proper storage.</li><li>Ensure cleanliness of bar before, during and after an event.</li><li>Assist with the creation of new drink recipes.</li><li>Maintain a strong knowledge of beverage trends.</li><li>Notify Banquet Manager of bar stocking levels.</li><li>Attend appropriate resort, division and department meetings.</li><li>Resolve guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness.</li><li>Follow Banquet Event Orders with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Assist the banquet servers/captains with clearing of tables as needed.</li><li>Provide general resort information for guests.</li><li>Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.</li><li>Communicate all pertinent information to the banquets team.</li><li>Maintain constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Qualifications:
