The Next Step Assistant Supervisor performs leadership functions relevant to the Supportive Living program, and in the absence of the Program Manager, supervises program staff in partnership with the Assistant Supervisor of Maxwell House.
Perform the defined laboratory functions: phlebotomy, handling of specimens (including use of centrifuge), CLIA-waived laboratory testing, Quality Controls, trouble-shooting analyzers, documentation of test results, specimen tracking with outside laboratory, scanning of faxed results into electronic health records, stocking of laboratory supplies. The Medical Assistant will perform laboratory responsibilities under the direction of the Medical Director, Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager, including specimen collection and processing, routine quality control testing, performance of CLIA-waived testing and documentation of results into EMR.
