What we look for: • A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline • 8+ years in a software engineering position with a history of architecting and designing for high performance and high availability • 6+ years of backend or full-stack development using Java/Kotlin • Experience with electronic trading or order management, asset management, or investment banking • Understand the value of automated testing at all levels • Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud • Some knowledge of web front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and a willingness to participate in full-stack development • Ability to focus on short-term deliverables while maintaining a big-picture long-term perspective • An aptitude for problem-solving • Ability to communicate effectively • Serious interest in having fun at work.
