The course develops students' ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, control, sensor, actuator, and automation systems into functional product and manufacturing applications, with attention to hands-on prototyping, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and safe operation of automated systems. Located approximately 2 hours from Boston or Hartford CT, and 4 hours from New York City, the region contains many opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation, cultural events, and a strong sense of community.
