Community Partnership Management • Manage day-to-day relationships with community partners hosting Bonner Scholars and Leaders, serving as primary operational contact for partner questions and concerns • Coordinate annual partnership processes including partnership agreements, site orientations, onboarding of new site supervisors, and regular check-ins throughout the year • Conduct regular site visits to Bonner Scholar and Leader placements to maintain strong working relationships with community partners, observe student experiences, and address any issues • Assist community partners with creating, refining, and updating placement descriptions and learning objectives for Bonner Scholar and Leader positions • Organize and facilitate partner training and orientation sessions to ensure community partners understand program expectations, student development principles, and best practices for supervising students • Plan and implement community partner recognition efforts and appreciation activities throughout the year • Maintain and regularly update community partner database with current contact information, placement opportunities, partnership agreements, and interaction history • Troubleshoot placement issues and mediate student-partner conflicts as they arise. • Student Support and Advising • Provide ongoing advising and support to Bonner Scholars and Leaders regarding community placements, project development, service hour completion, and program requirements • Execute placement matching process by connecting Bonner Scholars and Leaders with appropriate community placements based on their interests, skills, developmental goals, and partner needs • Design and facilitate regular reflection activities and discussions to help Bonner Scholars and Leaders process their community engagement experiences and connect service to learning • Coordinate Bonner student leadership development training initiatives and create opportunities for peer leadership • Identify and communicate capacity-building opportunities for Bonner Scholars and Leaders within community partner organizations • Provide guidance to Bonner Scholars and Leaders on integrating community engagement with academic coursework, internships, and career preparation • Monitor student well-being, address concerns promptly, and connect Bonner Scholars and Leaders with campus resources as needed • Maintain regular office hours and availability for drop-in student support and advising.
