JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEResponsible for providing overall guidance, direction and supervision to all department personnel; developing and/or implementing programs and strategies to improve employee safety and performance; ensuring that employees adhere to all applicable company work practices, procedures, and safety rules; managing the day to day activities of the organization to achieve established section goals and measures; working closely with other departments to ensure that cross functional processes are performing as designed; monitoring organization operations to ensure optimization of productivity; assisting with restoration efforts during major storms; ensuring development and implementation of effective training programs for department employees; ensuring effective and timely management of customer complaints, along with mitigation of complaints; and ensuring that all employees are engaged and aligned with department issues critical to the department success. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the Company's legal duty to furnish information.
