Our preferred candidate: has considerable knowledge of and/or experience in out-of-school time (OST) learning and flexible pathways; is a skilled systems thinker with relevant experience working with and within large, complex programs with multi-year budgets and deliverables; is able to work with technologies and digital tools that support program management and remote work; is an effective communicator via different media and with different stakeholders; is able to read, understand, and adhere to State of Vermont policies and procedures related to contracting and grant making, and; is able to read, understand, and adhere to federal policies and procedures relating to compliance and reporting, and; is competent in core areas related to grant and program management. The Coordinator will play a critical role in assisting the state''s response to addressing equity of access to quality enriched and expanded learning opportunities (ELOs) for young people, supporting programs throughout the state in developing evidence-based afterschool and summer learning opportunities.
