Chief Purpose of this position: The Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery is recruiting for an open rank, collateral, non-tenure track faculty position in thearea of pediatric surgery with specific emphasis on pediatric trauma andprogram and staff management with performance improvement. Demonstrated ability towork in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility witha population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds andexperiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Provides clinical oversight and leadership for an interdisciplinary ambulatory care team, which may include advanced practice providers, pharmacists, behavioral health providers, and nursing care coordinators. The Medical Director - Adult Primary Care, provides physician leadership and clinical oversight for our outpatient adult primary care ambulatory clinics within the Charlottesville, VA and surrounding markets.
