Work-study general duties involve entry-level tasks such as answering phones, filing, data entry, copying, and customer service. This position provides students with valuable work experience and the opportunity to earn money. Specific duties may vary by department (e.g., tutoring, lab support, event assistance), but all positions require professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to workplace policies.
Additionally, research and clerical tasks may support the development of the Bachelor's degree and the maintenance of the AAT & Child Development degree programs.
This is part-time, with a maximum of 19 hours per week. Hours may be flexible during the workweek of Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8 am - Noon, based on department need.

Office environment that requires working at a computer, typing, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, distinguishing letters and symbols, corrected vision and hearing within normal range, mathematical ability, speaking and writing proficiently in the English language, working under occasionally stressful conditions. Requires use of office equipment such as computers, printers, typewriters, telephones, copiers, adding machines, fax machines, and scanner.
