Description

The Inventory & Asset Coordinator is responsible for:
  • Shipping and receiving hardware and components
  • Inventory management and asset tracking
  • Order fulfillment support
  • Documentation and shipment records
  • Ensuring tools, consumables, and company assets are available for service teams
Typical Daily Activities
  • Track inventory levels and product availability
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure fulfillment of orders
  • Provide shipping and inventory documentation
  • Support field technicians and operations teams

Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Asset Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory information in:
    • Asset Management Repositories
    • Other inventory management systems
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and audits
  • Correct inventory discrepancies
  • Support regulatory and certification compliance audits
Logistics & Shipping
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and material movement
  • Communicate shipping activities with field technicians and central hubs
  • Maintain inbound and outbound shipment documentation
Operations Support
  • Ensure tasks meet company and industry standards
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages
  • Escalate inventory and logistics issues as needed
  • Support additional projects as assigned
Continuous Improvement & Safety
  • Follow all safety requirements
  • Recommend improvements that increase:
    • Productivity
    • Safety
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Process efficiency

Requirements
Experience & Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Inventory and logistics experience
  • Knowledge of inbound/outbound shipment documentation
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and within distributed teams
Equipment Experience
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, both manual and electric
  • Preferred certification and experience driving a forklift
Travel
  • Ability to travel locally between data center locations as needed

Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
Lifting & Movement
  • Lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
Access & Safety
  • Safely climb ladders
  • Properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
Manual Dexterity
  • Use hands to handle tools, controls, and equipment
  • Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
  • Bend and twist as needed
  • Perform repetitive motions for extended periods while maintaining productivity
