Court Administration is seeking a Treatment Court Operations Specialist (Business Professional I) to support the daily operations of our Drug Court, DUI Court, Veterans Court, and Opioid Court programs. This professional role works closely with the Program Director to ensure smooth court operations, accurate reporting, and strong coordination with justice and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing program statistics and outcomes tracking • Maintaining compliance and audit readiness • Coordinating court dockets and documentation • Supporting billing and operational continuity • Client caseload support is provided as needed for coverage
About the Position:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Court Operations & Docket Coordination:
• Prepare and manage court dockets, ensuring accuracy and timely scheduling • Coordinate hearings and pleas with judicial partners and distribute dockets • Draft court orders and attend hearings and staffings • Track arrests, warrants, and new charges; communicate updates and schedule future court dates
Program Data, Reporting & Compliance:
• Track Treatment Court data, outcomes, and performance trends • Develop dashboards and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports • Ensure database accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness • Support data requests and assist with grant and funding research
Administrative & Operations Support:
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely data entry • Track program fees, fines, restitution, and assist with invoices and disbursements • Provide front desk and lab coverage as needed • Support onboarding and training of team members
Case Management & Community Coordination:
• Provide backup support to case managers across multiple programs • Conduct client intakes and screenings for treatment placements • Build and maintain strong partnerships with community providers • Visit and evaluate service providers; deliver presentations as needed • Facilitate group sessions and coordinate client referrals
About the Schedule:
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. (no weekends!)
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with 3+ years of job-related experience (i.e.: working with Drug Courts or related experience performing duties for Court Administration, treatment courts, or other social services or counseling fields). • OR: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, counseling, social or behavioral science, or in a related field with 1+ year of job-related experience (preferred). • OR: 5+ years of professional related experience can be substituted for the degree at the manager's discretion.
Requirements:
• Valid Florida driver's license by date of hire • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience • 3-5 years of experience in Drug Court, Court Administration, treatment courts, or related social services/counseling fields • Strong knowledge of the judicial process and substance use treatment; advanced professional certification preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to promote teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement • Proficient with technology and office systems; able to develop and implement policies and obtain/maintain FDLE FCIC/NCIC certification within 6 months of hire

Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.

The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as part of the hiring process.
Starting Pay:
$58,947.20
