Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: October 6, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma ICU experience in a 16-bed unit with 1:2 patient ratios
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- Float opportunities to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
- One pre-approved time off period available during contract
- Orientation provided with approximately 36 hours of onsite training
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with Level I Trauma ICU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS and TNCC preferred)
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
- Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV placement and maintenance
- Preferred skills: ICP monitoring, ventilator management, Level I Trauma experience
- Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
