Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). This is a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma facility. Patient ratio of 1:2. Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed.

Highlights:

• Work in a 16-bed Trauma ICU at a Level I Trauma facility with 14 patient rooms
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Orientation provided to ensure successful integration into the unit
• Opportunity to work with adult trauma patients in a fast-paced critical care environment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance
• Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
