Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage required with 6 shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 1:2.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU setting with 16-bed unit and average daily census of 14 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
• Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation provided
• 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
• Work with advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and support for ventilated patients
• Float based on schedule with opportunities to expand critical care skills

Requirements:

• Active Texas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS and PALS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients preferred
• Previous charge experience, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply to certain local counties
