Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a night shift acute care position requiring 2+ years of tele experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute Specialty unit with 35 beds and a 4-5:1 patient ratio
• Patient population includes ortho, oncology overflow, bariatrics, sickle cell, and pancreatitis cases
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Night shift, 6:45p-7:15a, working every other weekend
• RN expected to read telemetry and perform EKG monitoring
• Skills utilized include traction, PCA, and feeding tube management
• Medications administered include general meds, heparin, and protonix drips

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required
