The ideal candidate will manage a 1:6 patient ratio, perform nursing procedures, and adhere to unit policies and protocols.

  • Schedule: Nights shift with a 12-hour shift duration; minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 12/14/2026 and ending on 03/15/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), Basic Dysrhythmia, and NIH Stroke Scale certification. No minimum years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV start skills, patient experience skills, and managing telemetry equipment.
  • Additional Information: The unit has 36 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6 during night shifts. Staff utilizes Dynamap (WelchAllyn), telemetry monitors with screen at the nurse's station, and Alaris IV pumps. Documentation is managed via Meditech. The unit values bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounds, and patient engagement strategies such as AIDET. Candidates should be comfortable with unit-specific policies and procedures, and demonstrate strong time management skills and technical proficiency in cardiac monitoring.
