Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nursing position located in Independence, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level 2 trauma center with stroke and STEMI accreditation. The position offers a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week with a start date of December 14, 2026, and an expected end date of March 15, 2027. The RN will be responsible for managing cardiac monitoring, vasoactive drips, and performing procedures such as central line or PICC line placements, while adhering to unit-specific policies and procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift (12 hours), minimum of 36 hours per week, with every 3rd weekend rotation.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
    • Education: RN license valid in the state of Missouri
    • Experience: 0 years minimum
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
    • Experience managing vasoactive drips
    • Competency with central line or PICC line placement
  • Float: Float rotation may be required for PRN float staff and in a structured rotation for full-time and part-time staff.
  • Additional Information:
    • The unit is a designated Education Unit with new cardiac monitors in each room to facilitate rhythm visualizations.
    • Unit-specific policies and guidelines are applicable; candidates should be prepared to follow hospital standards and participate in a rotating holiday schedule.
