Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a float position requiring at least 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience and a GA or compact license.

Details

• Float across two campuses covering PICU, NICU, TDICU, CICU, and general care/specialty areas as needed
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Patient ratio of 2-3:1
• Uses Epic for charting
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care provided across multiple ICU and specialty units within a pediatric hospital setting
• Must be willing to float between two campuses
• Any missed shifts must be made up
• Facility is nicotine-free and requires a drug screen
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions or exemptions permitted
