Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required. Patient ratios 1:3-4. 13-week assignment with 12 hours of orientation.

  • 42-bed Progressive Care Unit utilizing Epic charting system
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

  • Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including cardiac, post-catheterization, and medical-surgical patients
  • May float to telemetry or medical-surgical units when overstaffed

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to titrate and manage cardiac drips (critical requirement)
  • Experience with vasoactive drip titration, cardiac telemetry, and dysrhythmia management
  • Proficiency in central line care, blood product administration, and various specialized equipment
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
