Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring at least 1 year of PCU experience and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30), 36 hours per week
• Weekday schedule with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
• Floating required within OSU

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of PCU experience required
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role (Charge RN acceptable for second reference); no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates with only 1 year of experience will be reviewed by the manager rather than receiving an auto offer
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Former employees eligible for assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
• RTO must be requested at time of submission and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract, with urgency required for those outside the state
