Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring telemetry skills and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital PCU Float Pool
  • Float pool assignment — may be required to float to an OSU-affiliated hospital located approximately a 5–6 minute walk away
  • May also be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
  • Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

  • Active OH or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • IV insertion and telemetry monitoring skills required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted
  • Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
