Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, working night shifts with telemetry and IV start skills required.

Details

  • PCU Float Pool position within a large academic medical center setting
  • May be required to float to an affiliated hospital located approximately a 5–6 minute walk away
  • May also be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
  • Adolescent, Young Adult (AYA) patient population
  • Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4
  • Epic EMR — experience required
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Requirements

  • Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • IV start and telemetry monitoring skills required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — co-worker references are not accepted

  • Local candidates are accepted
  • Former employees of this facility are eligible to apply after a 6-month separation period
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and must not exceed 7 days total for the contract
