TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays and rotating weekends. Rotating holidays required. Float assignments within the hospital system as needed.

Highlights:

  • Progressive Care Unit environment with estimated 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios
  • Diverse patient diagnoses including renal, hepatology, cardiology, pulmonology, and general medicine admissions
  • EPIC charting system utilized across the facility
  • 13-week contract with possibility for two pre-approved time-off periods
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
  • First-time travelers accepted (profiles subject to manager review for candidates with only one year of experience)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • EPIC electronic medical record experience required
  • Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring required
  • Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of application
  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Clinical Skills:

  • Experience with heparin and insulin drip protocols
  • Blood product administration and central line management
  • Telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia management
  • BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula experience
  • Chest tube, feeding tube, and tracheostomy care
  • Port access, PICC line management, and peripheral line care
  • Pre/post hemodialysis management and wound care

Important Compliance Information:

  • Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing
  • Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start date with no exceptions
  • Out-of-state candidates within driving distance must travel to Ohio for fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking
  • Candidates at extreme distances will receive mailed fingerprinting packets to complete urgently
  • Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6 months or more to be eligible
  • Current employees of the hospital system are not eligible for travel assignments
