Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. 4:1 patient ratio. Weekend coverage required. Float required within the hospital system as needed.

Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive care or step-down unit experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Clinical skills including arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, central line care, cardiac drip titration, insulin drip titration, tracheostomy care, and wound vac management
  • 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership role)
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
