Must-Have:
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Description:
Schedule consists of weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays.
Nurses must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
The position involves providing care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit.
Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients.
Utilize skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
Familiarity with documentation systems is required.
The unit supports a variety of patient diagnoses including abdominal transplants, infections, and uncontrolled diabetes.
Nurses will not be expected to care for ICU level patients.
Travelers will work exclusively in the Progressive Care Unit.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
Special equipment includes telemetry systems and bladder scanners.
Candidates must be compliant with credentialing processes.
Two professional references are required, with at least one from a supervisory role.
Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
