Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience. License: Must have a valid state license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA Certifications Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Description: Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse - Nights Schedule: 3x12's Night shift On-call: None Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience. EPIC experience is required. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and AHA Certifications. Skills required include proficient IV start experience, telemetry experience, and competency with ventilators. Preferred qualifications include previous travel nursing experience and proficiency in EPIC documentation. Travelers must comply with credentialing requirements and complete necessary background checks. Candidates must possess the ability to adapt to flexible scheduling. Unit staffing will include interdisciplinary support from various specialties. Patient diagnoses vary and may include cardiac and medical issues. Daily census is approximately 28 patients. Special procedures and unit details are related to managing cardiac procedures and complications. Compliance deadlines for credentialing are strict and must be adhered to. Candidates must provide 2 professional references. At least 1 reference must be from a supervisory or leadership role. Education must be from an accredited program.
