Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit with nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4

Highlights:
  • Specialized cardiac population including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain management
  • Experience with cardiac drips required (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
  • May include assignment to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients
  • Minimum 2 years PCU experience in a similar-sized facility required
  • Documented progressive care experience must be evident in work history
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of documented PCU/IMCU experience in a comparable facility
  • Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and critical drip management
  • Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required upon submission
