Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (IMCU) – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 16-bed Intermediate Care Unit

Highlights:

  • Intermediate Care Unit setting with 16 beds and manageable patient ratios
  • Diverse case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
  • Opportunity to manage complex patient care including heparin drip protocols
  • Immediate start available for qualified candidates
  • Contract assignment in a fast-paced metropolitan healthcare environment

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or eligibility for compact state licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU or critical care nursing experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Experience managing complex medical conditions and IV drip protocols
