Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Progressive Care Unit assignment with 1:3-4 patient ratio; may include telemetry assignment based on patient acuity

Highlights:
  • 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac population
  • Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain protocols
  • Manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
  • Flexible assignment model includes telemetry beds for lower acuity patients within the same unit
  • Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required in a similar-sized facility
  • Contract opportunity at a well-established metropolitan healthcare facility
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
  • Minimum 2 years of documented Progressive Care Unit experience in a similar-sized facility
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
  • Demonstrated experience managing cardiac patient populations and cardiac drips
  • Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
