Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position is available in a healthcare facility within the state of Hawaii. The role involves providing primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and fingerstick blood sugar testing on a 15-bed unit that includes 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds. The RN will work the night shift and must be available to arrive on site the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointments.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours, and no call responsibilities.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii license, at least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year. Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, PALS certification, NIHSS certification.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to all acute units in house, including Medical, Surgical/Pediatric, ICU, and Emergency Room departments.
  • Additional Information: Candidates need to arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment. No facility names or employer identifiers are included.
