• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, with flexibility required
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with some shifts also scheduled from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: Required, including 2 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift within a 6-week period
• Float: May float to Main OR as needed
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270

Job Requirements

• Active Washington State or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with the right background
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• Strong circulating experience in general surgery, gynecology, breast surgery, ENT, and urology
• Experience supporting outpatient and inpatient operating room cases
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet call expectations
• Comfortable in a fast-paced surgical setting with a daily patient volume of approximately 25-35

Responsibilities

• Circulate a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, GYN, urology, breast, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, eye, and hematology/oncology cases
• Support both inpatient and outpatient procedures in a mixed surgical environment
• Provide safe, patient-centered care for adult and pediatric surgical populations
• Assist with blood and blood product administration as ordered and indicated
• Manage equipment and interventions such as cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, drains, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to maintain efficient workflow
• Adapt to call requirements and occasional float needs while maintaining high standards of care
• Contribute to a supportive surgical environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential
