Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience in ambulatory nursing care, primary care, or a similar outpatient setting preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication, patient education, and clinical support skills
• Ability to work effectively in a provider/RN team-based model
• Comfort with phone-based triage, care coordination, and patient follow-up
• Willingness to float between nearby clinic locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs in a busy outpatient clinic setting
• Provide telephone triage and respond to direct patient calls
• Support medication refills, prior authorizations, and imaging approvals
• Assist with FMLA paperwork, colonoscopy scheduling, and office visits
• Prepare exam rooms by cleaning, stocking, and maintaining high-level disinfection standards
• Assist with minor office procedures and patient exams
• Provide patient education and post-op follow-up calls
• Manage MyChart messages and coordinate care needs with the provider
• Help guide Medical Assistant workflows and support smooth clinic flow
• Travel with the provider team to nearby satellite locations when needed
