• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Call: Required on a rotating schedule, including weekday and weekend call coverage
• Float: May float to the Main OR
• Schedule Note: Flexibility is expected for day shift start times within assignment parameters
• Work Environment: 10-room surgical unit with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Washington state or compact license in hand at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Pediatric surgical experience required
• Strong circulating experience in general surgery, gynecology, breast surgery, ENT, and urology
• Experience with ambulatory OR cases and a variety of surgical specialties
• Ability to support a flexible call schedule and respond within the required callback window
• Must be comfortable working in a collaborative, high-acuity surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Circulate for a broad range of surgical cases, including general surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, eyes, orthopedics, and oncology-related procedures
• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care for both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Support pediatric surgical cases as part of the case mix
• Assist with blood and blood product administration as needed
• Participate in patient monitoring and response interventions such as cardioversion/defibrillation and warming/cooling therapies
• Manage surgical equipment and supplies including drains, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain flexibility for float expectations and call responsibilities
