Description:
Operating Room Registered Nurse position available.
Candidate must have scrub and circulate experience.
Travel experience is required; no first-timers accepted.
The unit specializes in pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years.
The unit has a total of 30 beds for surgical procedures.
Candidate will need to participate in call shifts, 6-8 times per month.
The schedule may include either 5x8s or 4x10s, with varying start and end times.
Candidates must have worked within a pediatric setting as well as in women's specialty.
Robotic experience is highly regarded.
Candidate must be willing to self-schedule call shifts during weeknights and weekends.
Self-scheduling will not float to sister facilities.
Blocked schedules cannot be guaranteed; flexibility to meet unit needs is essential.
Flu shot is mandatory unless a medical exemption is provided.
COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position.
Two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years are necessary.
Candidates must provide proof of required certifications at the time of application.
