Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse, located in Sioux City, is responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a level 3 trauma center. This role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team to manage a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, urology, general surgery, and oncology cases, with a focus on high-acuity care. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in Med-Surg and/or Oncology nursing.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience, high-acuity care experience, experience administering drips such as Heparin, PCA, epidural, and chemotherapy (if certified).
  • Additional Information: The role includes working two out of three winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day) with limited time off requests around specific holiday periods. Candidates must meet profile requirements, including a specific skills checklist, supervisory reference, and active nursing licenses.
