Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Sioux City, IA. This position involves providing urgent and critical care within a busy Level 3 Trauma Center. The ER Nurse collaborates as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and manage emergency situations efficiently.
Job Details
- Position Description: Rapidly interviewing qualified candidates through phone calls or texts from a 405 area code. The role requires contributing professional and clinical expertise in patient care management.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of ER experience, active BLS (American Heart Association preferred), ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications, a valid drivers license, and Iowa state licensure.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 through 01/25/2027.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility and be available to work during the winter holidays, including two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Participation in float assignments within the same discipline across local campuses may be required, with a focus on emergency nursing competencies.
