Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse - Sioux City, IA. This position involves providing critical care to patients within a Level 3 Trauma Center, including those with cardiac, trauma, and neuro conditions. The role requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications: Active BLS (American Heart Association preferred), ACLS (American Heart Association preferred), PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
- Qualifications: Iowa state nursing license, 2+ years of ICU experience, must have skills checklist specific to ICU discipline, active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates, and a valid drivers license
- Additional requirements: First-time traveler okay, TNCC preferred (may be required if extending), successful completion of a Supervisory Reference Form within the past two years, experience with EPIC OT/Holiday systems, and flexibility to work during winter holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day
- Schedule details: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours minimum per week, with potential to float across local campuses within the same discipline
