Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia.
Registered Nurse (RN)
This role requires passing an ECG exam on the second day of employment (pass/fail). The nursing unit consists of 16 beds with a staffing ratio of 1 nurse to 2 patients.
Nurses will be expected to manage and titrate medication drips, including:
Registered Nurses will be required to read their own telemetry strips. The telemetry monitors used are Phillips brand.
The unit is supported by two clinical technicians for a total of 16 patients. Respiratory therapy equipment available includes mechanical ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and noninvasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP).
Employees are expected to work one major holiday and one minor holiday per year. Major holidays include Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving Day/Day after. Minor holidays include Labor Day, 4th of July, and Memorial Day.
Scrubs are required to be Navy Blue.
The scheduled shift for this position is from 7 PM to 7 AM.
