Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 16
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2
  • Clinical Technicians: Two clinical technicians for 16 patients

Patient Population

The RN will work with patients experiencing a range of critical conditions, including:

  • Stroke / Acute Ischemic Stroke
  • Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH)
  • Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH)
  • Subdural Hematoma (SDH)
  • Brain Tumors
  • Cerebral Edema / Increased Intracranial Pressure (ICP)
  • Hydrocephalus
  • Acute Respiratory Failure
  • Sepsis / Septic Shock
  • Pneumonia
  • ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome)
  • COPD Exacerbation
  • Asthma Exacerbation
  • Acute Heart Failure / Pulmonary Edema
  • Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
  • Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
  • Hyperosmolar Hyperglycemic State (HHS)
  • Gastrointestinal Bleeding
  • Acute Liver Failure
  • Severe Electrolyte Abnormalities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical assessments and monitor patient vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Titrate intravenous drips including Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Phenylephrine, and Dopamine.
  • Utilize respiratory therapy equipment, including mechanical ventilators and high-flow nasal cannulas.
  • Read and interpret telemetry strips.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Educational Requirement: Must pass ECG exam on the second day.

Shifts and Holidays

  • Shift Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Holiday Requirement: One major holiday and one minor holiday per year.
