    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Olympia, Washington, 98506!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float

    Location

    Olympia, WA | Short Term Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float across units to meet census and staffing needs, caring for a diverse patient population including telemetry, medical-surgical, and ER-boarded patients
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–1:6 depending on unit acuity
    • Perform core charge nurse duties on designated smaller units, including staffing coordination, bed flow management, and general unit oversight
    • Document and chart accurately using EPIC
    • Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care
    • May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting
    • Charge nurse experience is required
    • US-based clinical experience required; Canadian experience alone does not qualify
    • Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in cardiac step-down or progressive care settings
    • Prior float pool or multi-unit experience in an acute care environment
    • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
