Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Strong understanding of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Documented professional development activities preferred
• Strong adaptability and comfort floating to like units and overflow areas

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg Telemetry patients in a float pool environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately while following unit protocols
• Float to Med Surg Tele floors and similar care areas as needed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe, efficient patient throughput
• Maintain strong clinical judgment while working in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Support patient safety, documentation, and quality care standards throughout the shift
