• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: Rotating days/nights, every other weekend required, holidays required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Orientation: Weekly orientation available
• Additional Note: Public transportation is available

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of related nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate web-based applications
• Level I trauma experience required
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• Must be comfortable with rotating shifts and variable assignment timing
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients across a float pool environment
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs as needed
• Administer blood transfusions and manage lasix drips per unit protocol
• Support respiratory treatments, including administering nebulizers as assigned
• Deliver care to patients in specialty areas such as neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, oncology, transplant, vascular, and more
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Adapt quickly to varying unit assignments and patient acuity levels
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards in a fast-paced acute care environment
