Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a MedSurg/Telemetry unit specializing in neuroscience care. Join our team to provide exceptional patient care primarily for stroke patients and those undergoing neurosurgery. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient diagnoses.
The unit primarily cares for stroke patients, as well as those with various neurological conditions including epilepsy, traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and more.
The unit features a 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), providing training for nurses in this specialized area. The daily census is approximately 42 patients, with a capacity of 43 rooms/beds.
Familiarity with PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR is advantageous.
Travelers are required to fulfill all scheduled shifts, including make-ups for any called-off shifts within the current week or at the end of their contract. EKG testing must be passed prior to the start of employment in this specialty.
