Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through active monitoring and interventions

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on their specific needs.
  • Monitor telemetry readings and respond to any changes in patient status.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.

Qualifications

  • Must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years.
  • Epic experience is required.
  • Current Wisconsin RN or compact RN license is required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Traveler candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting.

Schedule

This position involves working 12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1930, with weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs.
