Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,327 per week in Madison, WI

Exceptions to the two flips in a six-week scheduling period and/or the hours off between schedule flips may be made at the employee's request. Day and night shifts are 12 hours each with every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed. This position involves caring for adult med/surg patients with a variety of conditions and diagnoses. The patient population includes geriatric patients. Travelers will be required to provide care in a secure environment with Client patients. Staff will always be accompanied by an officer while assisting these patients. Telemetry experience and skills in managing various medical conditions are essential. Specific skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, managing IVs, and wound care. Healthcare team collaboration is emphasized, with support from various interdisciplinary services. The work environment may require floating to different areas as needed. Pass/fail testing is required for telemetry competencies with strict passing criteria. Travelers must demonstrate proficiency in identifying lethal rhythms and other critical skills during the examination.
