Candidates should be proficient in bowel obstruction management, central line blood draw, and chest tube care. Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management is needed. Knowledge in continuous bladder irrigation and feeding tube care and management is important. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and follow isolation precautions is essential. Experience in administering insulin and managing IV insulin protocols is required. Skills in wound care and tracheostomy care/management are necessary. Telemetry monitoring experience is required.
