Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,327 per week in Madison, WI

Exceptions to the two flips in a 6-week scheduling period and/or the hours off between schedule flips may be made at the employee's request. Day/Night, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed. Experience with adult, med/surg patients with a variety of conditions and diagnoses is required. The unit may have DOC patients, and staff will always be accompanied by a DOC officer while assisting these patients. The population includes geriatric patients under Family Medicine service. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Travelers will be required to float as needed. Pass/fail testing will be required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be administered before starting. Candidates will have two attempts to pass; if the second attempt fails, a cardiac interpretation review course certificate must be submitted before a third attempt. Failure to pass after three attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment.
