TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53718!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years License: WI RN or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS required - AHA Only Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Evening and night shifts with 12-hour durations. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs. Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in a community hospital is preferred. Travel experience is required. Minimum experience required is two years of acute care experience in the specialty. Skills required include accessing and managing ports, bariatric surgery, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration. Candidates should be proficient in bowel obstruction management, central line blood draw, and chest tube care. Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management is needed. Knowledge in continuous bladder irrigation and feeding tube care and management is important. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and follow isolation precautions is essential. Experience in administering insulin and managing IV insulin protocols is required. Skills in wound care and tracheostomy care/management are necessary. Telemetry monitoring experience is required. Overall, candidates should possess skills in patient care and management in various medical situations.
